Many will still remember "Paducah Music" located on the 300 block of Broadway in Paducah way back in the early 70's, run by the Whitby family. These wonderful people helped a 15 year old boy make a few bucks while teaching him a trade. That boy was me. I delivered pianos and organs for them and was soon taught to tune, rebuild and refinish pianos. This education was expanded when my wife and I moved with Chuck Whitby and his family to Houston, TX. in 1978 to help his uncle open two new stores. While in Houston, I was involved in technical services as well as sales and delivery in the Houston, Galveston area. The business grew from one store in the Galveston area to three stores including Houston and Bay City, TX. I was able to gain a lot of experience and knowledge while working with what I would consider the best in the business.

My wife and I eventually moved home to Paducah and after many years of tuning and moving, I became known as the specialist in this part of the country in moving grand pianos. I have been hired by individuals and firms to move pianos, and especially grand pianos, from Chicago to Chattanooga. From Dallas to Cincinnati.

Our family owned Christian Supply House and CSH Music for about 17 years. I am now working from my home in Ledbetter, KY. In addition to piano sales, I stay busy servicing pianos for many churches and civic groups as well as many individuals in the tri state area. I am appreciative and humbled by the kind words posted in the comments section on this web site. After taking a few minutes to visit these recommendations, I encourage you to consider American Piano Pro for all of your piano needs. Please feel free to send questions or make comments. I look forward to meeting you soon.
